Day 1
We meet in the town of Fouriesburg in the eastern Free State at between 17:00 and 18:30. After we have settled into our rooms we meet for dinner at 19:00. Here you will be briefed as to what to expect over the next two days.
Day 2
After a wonderful country breakfast we head out to the Caledonspoort border post and head via tar road in the direction of Oxbow Lodge. We drive several high mountain passes on our way to the highest driveable pass in Africa at approximately 3900m. Once we reach this point we turn around and start heading back to Fouriesburg on the way stopping for lunch at a wonderful clear mountain stream to enjoy lunch. From here we head on to Afri-ski Resort where we spend some time and take on the ski slopes.
Rental of equipment is not included in your tour price. After some bumps and bruises it’s time to head back to our guesthouse accommodation and a wonderful dinner and some well deserved rest.
Day 3
We enjoy breakfast once more and head out on a short 4×4 trail close to town we we will hand out certificates and say our goodbyes until your next adventure with us.
